Needle in a Haystack

Hey there,

I'm new to this forum and i'm searching the internet for a MC28. I live in the Netherlands and finding a NSR 250 is practicly impossible. So finding a MC28 therefore is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Can anyone tell me were to look... Are these bikes more sold in Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy?? I know for a fact that they never were sold in Holland through Honda.

So If anyone has any suggestions....

Hi and welcome.

As far as I am aware NSR250s were sold only in Japan and definately not anywhere in Europe anyway, '28's are rare over here too, during the grey sportbike explosion in the UK in the early 90's quite a few did come over though most importers would prefer to bring in 400s for obvious reasons. I've only seen about 3 or 4 '28's ever including mine and I believe the "record" for NSR250's in one place in the UK is about 6.

I have an MC28 for sale in Japan. Shipping costs might make you not interested, plus they fetch very good money over here still so ...

There is a Norwegian guy, Thomas, who sells NC30s from Thailand to, what I belive, people living in Norway or Sweden. My thought was that he perhaps can import NSRs too, and make the delivery to the Netherlands. The price is about 30000 sek ( ~3200 EUR) for the NC30, my guess is that it shuldnt be more for a NSR.

Why not send him an email and ask?
