New MC28 owner here from the States:-)

Tue Jul 17, 2012 3:36 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all! I Just picked up a 1996 NSR250 MC28....an SE i believe.....it has a dry clutch and adjustable suspension. Its registered and titled in CA! Ill post pictures later.

The bike came with Tyga gp style chambers ( which i don't like....will trade or sell for the standard side by side Tyga chambers).

My question is this....how can i tell if the card is stock or upgraded to 30 or HRC program? The speedo and lights work but i cant tell what the power is because I have nothing to compare it to....

Thanks guys! I'm sure ill be posting quite a bit here:-)

Btw.....any members here from the Bay Area?

Scott

Easy way to tell if the card has been reprogrammed... you won't have a speedo! Does the LCD display show the speed or only the temperature?

Check out Moriwaki-man's posts in the Supporting Vendors area of the Members section.

Plenty of happy customers.
