MC28 Powervalves question

Thu Oct 11, 2012 11:15 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Just done a top end refresh, and trying to setup the PV's
If you follow the manual, and go by the marks then at fully open - the PV's are still at least 5mm closed and could open more. Is this right ?
Interestingly even the arrow on the servo motor doesnt tally up with the markings either.

So am i missing something or is it right that they dont open all the way ?

Cheers

The set up position is not full open, nor is the mark/hole on the power valve pully.

Yes, they do open fully.
If you blip the throttle you will notice that the servo pulleys move clockwise further than the markings.
