Practical Sportsbikes is doing another NSR feature in a coming issue - this time, one of our 'Five of the Best'. Basically we're looking for five roadgoing NSRs modified fairly extensively, cosmetically, mechanically or both. They don't need to be immaculate, or big money builds necessarily - we're after five bikes improved to inspire and inform our readers about the ins and outs of making NSRs better. We're hoping to have one of each MC designation, ideally.
It'll involve a photographer coming out to you to take static pictures, so if you've just holed a piston or whatever, it doesn't matter - as long as they're in one piece for a static picture, that's fine. Then we'll interview you about the bike.
We'll be shooting the bikes in the next couple of weeks. If you'd like to submit your bike, please email me at chris.newbigging@bauermedia.co.uk. You can also call me on 01733 468 396 in office hours. Please include one picture and a bit of spec/history on your bike, plus a phone number - but only one pic please, my email box soon gets overwhelmed and then I won't be able to open anything!
Not sure mine qualifies as extensively modified, certainly not cosmetically - they don't get any more standard!
Likewise the suspension is fully stock though I did have a rebuild on the front forks about ten years ago.
The motor has been tweaked though, with Stephens magic, HRC and Tyga bits in it...
Got a bit of history mind, having been ridden to the last ever GP250 race and photographed in the pits next to the last ever Championship winning bike!
I'm sure, if you sponsored Chris and his photographer for a trip, they'd love to cover a bike in Australia!
They're very much "hands on" people, so I imagine they would want to take photos and speak to the owners in person. _________________ Andy.

Thanks to all that have replied so far - there's some lovely pictures in my inbox
We're still after more submissions to pick a varied spread of models/styles, so keep them coming. And sadly it is only bikes from the British Isles. As much as I'd love to head down under to see an NSR on work's cash, I don't think they'd allow me the budget just to fill one page!
