New bike added to my garage

Sun Jun 12, 2005 9:29 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I am now the proud owner of another NSR, this time an MC21, so I nearly have the set, just need a mc16 to add to my MC18, MC21 MC28.

After the great day at Llandlow I plan to do lots more track days but didnt want to keep using my MC28, so I picked up a reasonably priced 21!

Andy:- Do I get extra points now if I enter the posers page??? I still think each of my bikes entered on their own will be bottom of the list, but the three together I could make at least half way !

Line 'em up Leigh! Smile

I'm sure there's plenty of points there to keep you off the bottom spot! You may need to clean them a bit though!! Wink

Leigh don't forget that you'll need an MC11 to complete the set too. If we're being really anal then you should have the other version of the MC18 (there were two). Should we mention the MVX250 (mini NS400)?

Think you might be needing an extension to the garage mate.

Not sure if I will be adding to the list for a while.

Do we now get extra poser points for having clean bikes...I have no hope now, barry_mc21 can vouch for me that my MC28 was quite clean at the track day compared to usual. Last time I was round his house he cleaned part of the fairing resulting me having to do the rest of it....in two minutes flat which I guess showed judging by some on the comments I got. Wheels are too fiddly to clean!

At least I will only have to clean half of it for the pictures or do you need pictures from both sides? Laughing

Owning an MC28 AND a paddock stand there's no excuse for not whipping the rear wheel off for a quick blast of Mr Muscle. Lord help us now you’ve got three…that’ll be a third the amount of time spent on each getting them clean.

It was a hint, I was hoping you'd take it and clean the rest of it, but noooooo, quite happy to ride around on a bike half dirty, half clean! Wink

The 21 looks good, bit of spit and polish should bring it up a treat.

Cool

Spit and polish...me...I dont think so!

I guess I can take the hints now, maybe I will give the 28 a clean next weekend....or I may just wait until I decide on the new paint scheme and get it painted, then it will be clean when it comes back.

Cool was definately not a mini ns400, apart from having 3 cylinders and being 2 stroke.it shared the entire chassis with the vt250 bore stroke. so you only need a mc16 and a mc11 for the set. I have had an mvx and you dont want one anyway. all the ns and nsr,s are what you want.

After a couple tins of spray from Halfords and a £25 sticker kit and I get 10 more poser points. Here is my MC21 in its race colours. A couple more bits need adding and its off for an mot.
