Good question. Not something we have really discussed. Of course we have the Two Stroke GP day in July but no real plans for a dyno day.

Any suggestions?

You and Andy put loads of work in, maybe spend your own money running a TD which will barely make a penny, offer the dyno for near nothing, organise everything and then the evening before I'll drive to Andy's. TBF it is way past my turn to buy tea so I'll buy Chinese, drink beer and pass out on his sofa.
Then in the morning we'll drive down and the dyno day will be the usual appallingly attended affair where we run your bike and mine (which both work) and spend the rest of the day putting one of Tom's bikes together properly.
Then we'll adjourn to yours, buy another takeaway and sink a few beers.

It's a tried and proven recipe Wink

All sounds unsurprisingly familiar, and quite viable apart from one thing... the track day is normally Llandow, and I think a couple of NSR500's round there would be a bit of a waste of investment! Mind you, the prospect of them being there may actually fill places this time?! Confused

As for putting one of Tom's bikes back together... I think he only has his 1991 NF5 left in bits now, so maybe we could build one of my F-III's?! Embarassed

I think just a standard dyno day (and an evening of pop, takeaway, and nonsense chit-chat) may be the best plan again this time. Steve and I have pretty much given up trying to organise poorly attended track days now, hence why we piggyback on No Limits days. It was great when we used to be able to get the whole [Llandow] track just to ourselves, but never mind. Rolling Eyes

You do need to build one of the F-III's. I vote the '16 as its nice and rare. The '18 however would be much easier.

That way you can do Donington on it. Then we can swap!

Hmmm... a couple of laps on an MC16 TT-FIII, then hop on to an NSR500V... The name's Andy, not Aoki!
