Fri Jun 17, 2005 10:39 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

i have seen a few bikes with the tyga rear crowl and seat, but are the seats not uncomftable for long rides coz they are so thin? was interested in getting the seat unit and seat but i do often ride few hundred kms so want it to be comfortable.

The main thing for me would be the awesome look of the gpTyga seat unit i wouldn't care if i couldn't feel my a*** for days after, comfort would not be a factor for me,then again I'm a sad poser and know doubt it would be a different story if i did have a longride out Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have got to agree, it's all about poser point. I have the seat and did a 300 mile ride up the Maine coast line. When I sat on my friends stock seat at a stop I was so disapointed in mine felt like a sofa. But I went for the look not the comfort. If you like the stock seat go for the new GP500, you get a good look with it as well as the stock seat. I just ordered one for my wifes bike with the RSW body.

I actually prefer the Tyga seat over the stock one.. I was hesitant at first thinking it was going to be a pain in the @ss but find it fine on long distance rides. It also has the huge advantage over the stock seat of being quite a bit narrower leaving your legs in a far more natural position.

And hey.. if your @ss is spending that much time in the seat you aint riding it right! Razz

Ahhhhhh........there's nothing better than slipping on the Belstaff's and the balaclava and jumping on the NSR for a nice steady cruise up and down the country.

Those race position bars and feet tucked up yer chuff are in the perfect position for maximum comfort.

This is the life. Only having to stop every half an hour or so for more fuel and top up the stroker oil.

Then at the weekends you can jump on the Goldwing for a few hot laps of your favourite twisties.

TYGA Performance.........Built for speed..not for comfort!
