Gearing for Donington Anyone?

Wed Jul 17, 2013 12:44 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I think all the internal ratios in mine are as factory supplied, have no reason to believe otherwise, so wondering if anyone knows the 'tried and trusted' gearing of Donnington.

I am running 15/37 at the moment but heard 15/38 may be the better option?

Cheers

Simon

15/38 will be fine for Donington.

15/38 gives about 190mph in top, doesn't it Steve?

Cheers Mark, thought you might know. I am guessing your Donington race meet has passed now as I was going to pop across and hook up?

190mph at Donnington Shocked

I've seen 160+ on the blade under the Dunlop bridge and that's fast enough for me Very Happy

No problem.

Yes, it was a couple of months back. The TSGP boys were there too, you missed a good weekend. You may have seen some clips on TV if you saw The Motorcycle show a couple of weeks back.

Good to see you at Donnington Mark.

Hope the injury is healing well.

So how many races left in the season and will you be competing?

Would love to come along and see/support if i can.

Hi Simon,

Yes, good to meet you and all the other guys last week. There were some lovely machines out.

There are five rounds left over three weekends. Anglesey, Pembrey and Thruxton. I've never ridden at any of them before.

Anglesey is in two weeks and to be honest, it's looking doubtful I'll be fit to ride but never say never...

I only got to see a couple of sessions and from what I could see, you were doing a pretty good job on track. Nice bike too. Nice wheels, very pimp Wink
