I happen to be browsing ebay at some of the Chinese fairing sets and noticed that the mc21/28 sets can come with a tank cover? How exactly does that work? Doesn't seem like a shell over the current take would fit very well. Are you suppose to swap the tank to something else? =]

Simple answer....don't waste your money.

I had also looked into this and figured out that it is just that: a cover which you slip over the existing tank. Needless to say that with the shape of an NSR tank it does no longer look like an NSR tank afterwards. Would be something different if there would be two halves but I have never seen such a solution.
