Hello! My first post after buying an NSR Pro Arm

Hi Guys,
Thought I'd say hello in my first post.
I've just bought this MC28 Pro Arm on the Jap auctions. Something I've always wanted. I know very little about it other than a few pictures.
The chap over there said:
"The digital meter is blackened and needs replacing and the Engine runs very nicely and tight, and the disks have little or no wear"
I already have a Suzuki RGV250SP VJ23 so it'd be nice to compare the differences and how they feel.

Here's a couple of pictures of the NSR. Fingers crossed it's not a lemon

Does anyone know how to get the digital speedo through a British MOT? Do I need to fit a gadget to convert it from kmh to mph?
I'm planning on buying the HRC card and splicing the loom to release full power, and I believe there are bits needing grinding out of the pipes.
Is it actually worth doing the loom splice and HRC card? I say this because I fitted a de restricted CDI to my RGV and I think it allowed it to rev out an extra 1000revs. I didn't notice any difference.

Any help de restricting the bike would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

Rich Smile
