Hi mates,

I've seen a bid for a set of cylinders from a NSR250R-SP MC18 and i'm willing to purchase them.
I supose as they came from a NSR250R-SP MC18 they are R5K II type P/N: 06123-KV3-770 so i think they will fit my R5K.
They are anounced as 9AM1232 type C Nº1 & 2. Can someone inform me if they are fully compatible, or do i need to macht the also with the heads.

There's no difference between R5K-R and R6K-SP heads.

I have no idea what the 9AM1232 relates to.
The type C relates to the exact size of the bore and indicates you should use the corresponding type D pistons.
Yes,.. type C cylinders use type D pistons.

I agree with Andy that the heads are the same across R5k and R6k models.
Having said that,.. there appears to be 2 types of head that both work fine. See the very bottom of this page.

Thanks for the info, i was a little confused about the correct ones.
I'll go for them now i'm sure.
I haven't repaired yet the fairings as i'm still waiting for a plastic welding nozzle that i was supossed to arrive soon...
Once i've get all the material i'll place some photos of the process.
