does mc21/28 crank suit mc18r5k ?

hi folks
this is probably common knowledge but can anyone confirm if the mc 21 or 28 crank shaft is suitable for use in an mc18r5k motor ?

You have to split the crank , turn down the webs and re assemble .

What's wrong with your original crank ?

From memory the webs need 2mm taken off (total of 4 off the diameter), otherwise should be fine. There has been significant discussion around this issue but all looks to have been deleted.

The MC18 R5/6k has a crank wheel (or web) diameter of 96mm
The MC21 and MC28 has 100mm diameter crank wheel.

All have the same stroke of 54.5mm
