I don't think they are as I remember another forum member put mc18 barrels & mc18 5k standard exhausts on an mc16, but had to "customize" the downpipes and silencer brackets _________________ Why do things simply when you can complicate them
Probably not... not in the sense of being any better than stock MC18 pipes. (RJ and RK standard pipes are very good; just heavy.)
"Will they fit?"
Yes, they should do, although so jiggling is almost certainly going to be needed, and they are more likely to be a closer fit on an R2/4J than they are on an R5/6K
The exhaust outlets on *ALL* NSR250 barrels are in exactly the same position. It's where the chambers go after they run under the motor, fix to the frame, and exit around the swingarm that differs on every model. The MC16 and '88 MC18 are pretty similar dimensionally, but you'll just have to take the plunge and try it!
On a side note, please can you fill out your profile, and/or specify exactly what model you are referring to! It saves people second-guessing what model of NSR you have. There are some significant, and some more subtle, differences between the 88 and 89. _________________ Andy.

It's a 88 mc18 first nsr 250 I don't mind the
Fitting part just as long as it won't affect performance
If it does so I'll just have to spend more money
Dat I don't have
