note that the prices are hammer or button price, ad tax and auction house fees. tax is 5% (from next month 8%) for a 100.000 yen bike auction house fee is about 8500 yen, for bikes around 500.000 yen and up, it is capped at around 15.000 yen
MC18 passed in 102.000 yen, bad engine grade
MC21 R Sold 334.000 yen, really clean bike
MC21 R Sold 124.000 yen, no key for the tank, rusty anyway, needles to say it was a non runner
MC21 SE Sold 250.000 yen
MC28 SE Sold 352.000 yen
MC28 SE passed in 566.000 yen
MC28 SP Sold 620.000
It seems that photobucket once again chose it's very own order to organize the photos. The 124k MC21 was the white/blue, the MC28 SE that passed was the purple one with the ethos looking chambers
These photos are from the same auction house, but they are big and have 3 major auctions across Japan.
The three places are called 関東, 九州 and 関西.. You will see the signs with the bikes on the photos. All the 関東 bikes are from a non claim auction, the bikes are not checked or graded and buyers have to be careful. The 九州 関西 are mixed non claim and normal auction and they are not free to get transported up here. From 関西 I believe it is about 10.000 yen and from 九州 it is about 18.000 yen
MC16 Sold 64.000 yen
MC18 Sold 58.000 yen the one with green tape holding the fairings
MC18 Sold 64.000 yellow tail
MC21 R (with a dry engine) Sold 119.000 yen
All Andreas does is buy's and sorts NSR's for the most part - he usually has a pack of them in his man cave
You can see how cheaply they can be had and condition - just look at what's available around you locally and where that bike originally came from.
Cut out all the mark-up and supposed fees and get them direct
I don't see why you can't give the fella a list of your needs with a budget to see what he can come up with - just be realistic about it and you'll soon be smelling of castor again _________________ Resistance is futile!
MC28 SE sold 312.000 yen, ethos chambers and un-original paint
MC28 SE Sold 346.000 yen, the original one
MC21 SE Sold 236.000 yen
NSR150 SP Sold 120.000 yen
This is a different auction, they show the last year or so of bikes sold whereas the other auction will only let you look back in time about 2 weeks
So with these I will start with the cheapest and work my way up... I might get bored and start doing some actual work at some point.. Note that there are two different places the photos are taken, the more grey looking floor, is up here in Yokohama, the whiter floor is in Kobe
I just worked out that adding the prices for each individual bike is rather time consuming. so next will be all bikes from 36.000 up to and including 100.000 yen
OK fellas, for the year or so, those are the NSR's sold for between 11.000 and 100.000 yen
I hope you guys like looking at photos of NSR's, I know I do
Next will be between 101.000 and 200.000 yen
And I will keep going unless somebody stops me
I know it certainly looks like I am dealer trying to push sales. I will be happy to pay the vendor fee. So dear moderators could you PM me what I should do?
This thread is going to be mega long. If you have any questions I am open.. Remember all these bikes are already sold. If you wonder why some of the Rothmans are too cheap (for example), just describe the bike as best you can, tell me the price too and I will look it up, the check sheets are still available, but they are scanned hand written ones, even Japanese people have a hard time reading them
