morning chaps, I have been offered and agreed a deal on a tatty mc18 11 that has been stood for 5 years to my knowledge. Is there anything I should be particularly wary of in respect of the engine? I know all the brakes and tyres and all will need a good seeing to and the fairings have some fastener damage and the brake footrest hanger is broke. It has obviously been down on the right hand side so a full strip will be needed at some point. On the good side it starts very easily, I would just like to use it for my annual Manx gp trip before I do any major surgery. any constructive thoughts?

The safe option is to suspect/inspect everything.There's plenty information here on recommissioning an NSR that's been sitting for a while.

I am obliged to you for the solid advice, I will search some posts.
