I've recently acquired this 2000 RS250 to go with my 1990 NF5 .Collecting a new fairing from Andy Sawford next week then need to get it painted , not sure what colour scheme to use yet , but I've got a few in mind.
I can't wait to give it a run and see how it compaires with the 1990 RS , just to see what 10 years of development feels like !
Yes it was Kevin's TT / MGP bike , it's not been used since 2009 . Typical of Kevin it's in superb condition and wants for nothing ! I'm still amazed I managed to get him to part with it , luckily I had a Yamaha 4DP that interested him , and part exchanged it for the Honda .
That would be good , but I think I will be away on holiday for most of July. I will be at Scarborough in June followed by Goodwood ,then Spa the weekend after, so that will keep me busy for most of June What date is the Donnington Track Day ?
We usually aim for around the 22nd~24th July, and run it in conjunction with No Limits Trackdays. They've yet to confirm their 2014 schedule still though, so can't give a firm date just yet.
As soon as we know for sure, you'll know! _________________ Andy.

I had my ride on the 2000 NX5 yesterday at Cadwell Park , luckily the weather was perfect for a track day. First impression was just how smooth the engine ran , the edition of the balance shaft I guess. I thought my reverse cylinder yamaha was very tractable but this bike is so much stronger low down. Great riding position ,footrests to seat etc , handling I thought was very neutral and went just where you wanted it to . The front brakes are very strong , the rear was not as good as I would like it to be, maybe a change of pads might help,, any suggestions for replacements?
Overall I thought it was a brilliant bike to ride , looking forward to riding it at Oliver's Mount , a pity it's too new to take to Spa !
