Hi All,

First poster here, hope you're all well?

My other half used to own an NSR250, reg (she thinks) G401SGN. When I do a basic vehicle check, it comes back as taxed, so at least it still exists, but the colour now shows as blue (it was black and grey when she had it).

It's her birthday at the start of July and I'm really keen to buy it back as a surprise, or if not that one (as it's now blue) another NSR250 of the same model type in the colour scheme she had. Her's was in the factory black/dark grey/silver with the NSR graphics in red and it had white wheels (I don't mind black wheels, as I'm the one who has to clean it!).

Can anyone help at all, or can these still be sourced from Japan?

Any help would be gratefully received, as I don't really know that much about bikes.

I used to own the bike! Thought I recognised the Reg number. It was the bike that became the forum racer. I still have the V5 in my filing cabinet, but I'm pretty sure I dont have the bike (or frame)

It was indeed black, but I then changed it to a rothmans paint job.

I bought it from Gary Richards from Crowborough. The V5 says that was back in 2005.

If it comes back as tax'd then I doubt it legally belongs to you any more Tom .

I too recognised the number and was going to have a look....I wont bother now though.

Just had a bit more of a dig through the filing and found I sold it to a guy in Newent in June 2010.

I don't suppose you have the guys details that you sold it to? I could try writing to him to see if he'd sell it?
