I'm checking the bike because an oil pump failure and i took off the back fairing and i checked the wiring loom at the CDI and it's not spliced That means i have some extra power remaining .
The past day i noticed a lack of power in 5th and 6th gear and it's seems the cdi was limiting the revs, i want to check the power afterwards i make the wire splice. but i want to put the bike in perfect working order first.
The pump is oiling too much and yesterday the lower plug got soaked and it stopped firing correctly.
It's just the low cylinder that smokes too much. I've checked the pump marks and it's a little open when no throttle, it seems the previous owner gave it some extra turns to the adjusting nut.
Luckly i have a good oil pump as spare if needed . I will check everything correctly and come back with the results.
