Finally i have the carburettors separated on the desk. I was trying not to open them because i was a little afraid of my skills but now it's done. The assembly is quite dificult but not imposible. I had to put labels on every hose.
Looking carefully I've seen the throttle position sensor spring was trapped with the trottle body housing, and surely there is an air leak in the cover seal. It seems it got trapped when closing the cover.
Now i'm going to clean them up with carb cleaner and an airgun.
I have an aftermarket carb kit with new needles and gaskets i will replace all the stuff in the kit.
I will check the two needles to see if there's any diference in shape or size.
Also i was trying to get the best setup for carb for the sunny days in Madrid, so any tips are welcome.

Andy sorry for the issue, i apologize .

The carburettors are in good shape, some rust un the floats but no dramas.
I just took some photos of the right one dissambled, i only will change the gaskets and orings. The original needles are better quality and they are good shape.
What do you think about the carbs? All coments are welcome.

Just went for a ride in the morning to test the bike and everything is fine.
I have done a complete revision of the bike and it's seems to be a real low mileage bike, i always doubted.
Fitted new air filter, carb cleaning, front pads, brake fluid, refurbished forks, and oil pump adjust.
The bike starts nicely and performs great. The OEM air filter seems to be more restrictive then the previous and i can notice less air flow and less noise aswell.
With the carb cleaning i now have better performance in middle revs, now revs up more steadily.
The only issue i have is that the lower cylinder burns more oil the the lower one. I'll checked the oil lines to see if it was clogged but it's fine also the pump is fine.
Maybe it's the carb air screw?
I have to check also the vacuum in the carbs, what vac gun do you use?

Use the marks on the throttle slides to balance the carbs, as per the manual.







The stock carb settings are in the Technical Resources area of the Workshop section, and give you the air screw settings for each model.

Hi Andy,

Many thanks for the tip,just checked the carbs and now the bike is running great.
I was afraid of the damaging the engine, but now it oils fine. Aldo the carbs looked paired, when I opened throttle they became missaligned.
Now they move at the same time in all positions. Thanks for your support and the pics.
I'm trying to borrow a cam from a friend to upload a little video of the bike runing, but i'll better practice some more, it's a very sportive bike for me and i need to ride some more firstly.
