Hi all I have had this issue for a while, it is a weird tinny sort of metallic noise and it happens when the pv opens at 3k, but not under that rev. The noise was there before the engine had a full rebuild including pv strip and clean and is still there afterwards. I have reused the genuine honda exhaust gaskets which i know you should only use once, could this be the problem?
Like a metallic ticking? Run it with the side off and touch a screw long driver or similar onto the ends of the power valves. Mine did exactly that and I narrowed it down to the top valve tinkling away. Had a good clean up, grease up, new seal etc, doesn't do it now, and it certainly didn't cause any issues when it did.
