Our latest crankshaft rebuild underway as of yesterday.

This was, according to the auction site seller, "a good crankshaft, recently removed from a running bike"! Shocked

The worrying thing though, is that the bearing didn't really "feel" that bad, which just goes to show you can never be sure with a used item. What appears to look, and even "feel" good, can very easily be useless.

At the rate we're going through them, this box won't last long... Enough left in stock to do about 20 cranks. Very Happy

We can do any NSR250 and HRC RS250R NF5 crank, subject to passing our strict assessment.

Here the crank can be seen seated in one of our bespoke jigs, machined in-house.

All set to have the new outer mains pressed on to finish up.

Interesting stuff Andy, do you replace the big ends and thrust washers as well?

Yes we can replace the big end rollers with genuine Honda rollers if necessary. We use new silver plated trust washer, again if needed.

Outer mains done... all ready to ship back to Japan!

Yep!! We're even doing cranks for customers in Japan, so we must be doing something right!! Cool
