Wouldn't say there was a lot of difference between any of the top makes Simon as for links and rivets, i always run a joining link on mine, 250,s and 125,s, in fact when my son was racing, in 9 years we always ran a joining link and that was spanning 125,s through to 1,000cc, not once can i remember any problem, i know people will say what the hell were you doing with a joining link on a 1,000, but you pays your money and takes your chance, it worked for us !!!!. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
The last few chains I've had have been DID. I use split links for ease of removal and cleaning. Never had a problem with them _________________ If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
If you are worried about the spring clip pinging off, just smear a bit of clear silicone on the front of it, job done. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
The last chain I bought was from "The Chain Man" as he came recommended and supplied the number of links I needed and with a non o ring chain for maximum hp (when you've only 40bhp you need all the help you can get).
He does stuff for the GP 250s. Nice bloke. Worth a phone call to check price.

I use crankcase sealer - essentially the same thing but a little more resistant to chain lube and fuel, which I use for giving the chain a quick clean between runs. _________________ If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
