Mon Aug 08, 2011 7:48 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all,

Wondered if someone can tel me which pistons these are ?

54mm bore, same piston pin as nsr. Flat tops.

Maybe from NF5 or NX5 ?

Its got the following stamped inside : ART 8C27

Thanks
Mario

If it has a 15mm piston pin then it not an NF5. I'v not seen a crank case inducted RS motor with a piston ported type piston between 1987-1992.

Stephen is right... Either are not from an NX5 or NXA... Even the "A" kit pistons from HRC or JHA for these bikes are not ported...

Mario hi,

ND5 is the Honda RS250 but before NF5's... Although i checked my parts lists of the ND5 machines and i sew also that the pistons don't have any ports...

Cheers Mario

I believe nd5 had a bore of 56mm.
Looks like an old KTM or Honda Cr125 piston to me.

Thanks again for all the help guys !

Michael - ND5 = before my time, LOL !!

Maybe pistons from CR125 that someone wanted to use in their NSR motor as I got these with a pair of bikes I bought.

The port in the rear skirt identifies the piston as a CR125, the comp height will define the year
