Noticed this morning when playing around with the bike that I get ERR2 when the servo sweeps to LO position.

There is no EER2 when it moves to HI and it moves all the way to LO then comes on. The cables are no where near tight in either position and the pulleys move freely, also there is no noise from the servo to suggest it's struggling.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

A search for "ERR2" returns 10 results and approx 200 posts.

ERRs on PGM-IVs have been discussed many times. Also, it is covered in great depth in the Service Manual.

Short answer is that there is possible carbon build up on the valves or the cables are binding.

I've been a member here for a while and I'm quite familiar with the search function, however there are no problems like mne where the ERR code appears in LO position only. That's why I asked.

Can't be carbon as I cleaned them a few weeks back. Cable binding is something I'll check.

Check the setting of the TPS.

Loosen off the screw, twiddle the TPS until the light goes out and error disappears and lock it up.

You'll need to measure the voltage from the TPS if you want to set it as per the book.

That's not the correct way to do it but gets you going.
