Paddock stand for mc28

Sun Apr 01, 2012 10:19 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

dear all

any advise on where to get a paddock stand (rear wheel) for a mc28 at a decent price?
miss having 1. makes life so much easier.
otherwise, have seen some of the rides here with bobbins (is that what its called?) on the swing arms so they can use normal stands.
any idea where i can get a set? so i can make use of the existing padlock stand i have

cheers!

Not sure how one would go about using a spool stand for an MC28. I bought a Pit Bull for around $150 if i recall correctly. Was another US $20 for the pin.

For a temporary fix, you could use some tie downs and rafters in a garage to lift up the rear end.

Too many conflicting questions here, ones asking about a rear stand for a 28 and showing a picture of a 21, when they both use completly different stands, another ones asking about a front stand, which one do you answer?, or somebody dont know the difference between a 28 or a 21 swingarm. Confusing!!!

ummm just to avoid further confusion too, it's "paddock" not "padlock" Smile

I can't see where you would mount a bobbin besides on the hub, so you'll need a single sided stand, that is the easiest way out.

With a single sided stand I can't see a reason why any of the conventional front stands would not work, before you test it, make sure a friend is handy..... just in case Smile
