new bike gone wrong after 2 miles any ideas??

really pissed off spent two hours today tinkering and getting the bike ready for its first ride (picked up in a van) and i get home 2 miles down the road and bamm



any ideas im pretty sure its a crank seal gone Mad words cannot describe how pissed off i am right now i bought this as it was described as being rebuilt 2000 miles ago

rant over lol any help gratefully recieved

I would go with crank seal. RH side I would guess. Good luck getting one mind as Honda have discontinued all MC18 cranks seals. Rolling Eyes

You might be able to get the MC21 seal 91203-KV3-681 to work with a little effort.

With the ( bamm ) you mean that you heart a mechanical noise as something that breaks?

it just started to hold back and then when i pulled over it was covered in oil as shown in the photo no bang its still running just burning gearbox oil

No, I've turned a number of cranks now and it works ok. In face there are some pictures of one of them on our faceook page.

The MC28 crank seals will fit the r5k. Different part number for right side seal, but same dimensions. I fitted one to mine no problems. Tyga performance stocks them.

Seller is giving me £150 back towards the cost of the rebuild that should cover the gaskets and seals just need to find the time now to do it
