Newbie looking for advice

Sat Sep 07, 2013 4:07 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hows it going new here, just looking recently at buying a mc16 nsr needing a lot of work, ive did a quick search on google but not much coming up so heres a few questions for those of you who can answer them!

Where do you buy rebuilt kits, top/bottom end, main bearings, seals, gaskets etc? Not looking for genuine HRC but at the same time something that will do the job.

The bike is sitting up a long time so id be rebuilding it, with a top end and probably a crank, would I be better off sending the crank to get rebuilt? (how much??)

Any other tips from you mc16 owners?

thanks

Hi,if that's the bike from West Cork, you've got a lot of work to do!However,if you use the search function here, you'll find most of the information you are seeking. As for parts, the classified section here is useful, and have a look at the Vendors Area, parts may be available in Japan and elsewhere.Be prepared to open your wallet tho' Wink
