Replacement footpegs for MC21

Mon Sep 16, 2013 10:43 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all,

MC21 track bike took a spill and the r/h foot-peg hanger is kaput. Gear lever is also pretty mashed but might be salvageable.

Haven't been able to find any MC21 replacements so was wondering if anyone knows what other model hangers/pegs would fit?

For example I've seen a set of cheap rearsets for an MC18 and thought they might fit?

Not too bothered whether I get rearsets or used OEMs, as long as they are functional.

Cheers....

Al.

Hi Al

I put Tyga rear sets on mine along with the height adjusters. This brought the pegs too high up so I swapped them over and put the LHS height adjuster on the RHS and it lowered the pegs and moved them back a bit further. It is now really really comfy

Hey, that's a pretty good idea =]

I may pickup those adjusters for my tyga rearsets as well.

I THINK, the spacing is different on mc18 and mc21.

Thanks for the replies.

Is anyone with an MC18 able to measure the foot peg mounting bolt spacing for me so I can see if they are compatible with the MC21?

Ignore this. They are different.

FYI pitch of foot peg mounting holes on frame are:
MC18 left 78 right 71.5
MC21 left 76.4 right 70
