I am currently stripping an r6k, what's the correct way to remove the power valve cables?

Best way is to remove the nut **CAUTION -- LHT** holding the pulley on to the RC Valve shaft, and then simply flip the pully around (as if you were turning something inside-out).

Make sure you pay special attention to the order of the washers behind the nut. The washers/nut are (a) special, and (b) no longer available, so make sure you wire/cable-tie the bits together, and put them somewhere safe!

** AGAIN ** The nut holding the pulley on is left-hand-thread.
