The stands we use are from TYGA Performance. They're not too expensive, but obviously shipping a relatively large, slightly awkward shaped part like that on their own soon ramps the cost up a bit.

We have a shipment coming from TYGA in the next week or two. Maybe could add a couple of stands to it if you guys want them (if they have them in stock!)?

I bought one from Tyga about a month ago so they probably still have some, cheap as chips too, but like Andy said, shipping ramps the price up, but if you want it bad enough you just have to disregard the shipping cost, although in my case i bought other stuff as well, albeit nf5 bits and i modified the stand to take my nf5 motor. Where will it end,i realy should stop buying all these trinkets. !!!!.

Spoken to Matt this evening, who says he's pretty sure they have a couple in stock, but will check on Monday. I will get them included with our next shipment next week.

They've been around for years, I've got two sitting in my garage, the wrong continent means they're of not much use for the OP.

I bought a Tyga one via Jap 4 Performance in the end. £40 inc delivery

I think Tyga were £20 + delivery for £65

Hi Guys,

We have them in stock.

The history on the engine stand (if anyone's interested) is basically I got mad with the engine wobbling all over the bench while working on it, and also trying to chock the engine into position while measuring head volumes or things like that. So the obvious answer was a very simple stand that couple be easily used in two planes to make working on each cylinder a pleasant experience.

I still use my original stand. Must be 20 years old now, which I made up out of some rusty box section kicking around out the back of the workshop.

Cheers,

Matt.

I got the stand when I ordered some parts and the extra shipping was marginal compared to the other stuff I was getting. The people who pack the boxes are Tetris masters. But yep, the stand is awesome. I would say the holes are the tiniest bit too small so getting the long bolts in can be tricky with a fully built engine but once they're in, it's rock solid.
