Id like to test them in my MC21. I haven't seen a post here about them yet, apart from a few from over 10 years ago, but those weren't the purpose made NSR ones. I don't mind being the guinea pig. Although if anyone has No mark pistons for my B cylinders I'll take them.
Appreciate the "take one for the team" sentiment (it doesn't happen often!), but the genuine ART pistons are second to none. _________________ Andy.

Look tidy but a single ring piston. Is this for track/race bike? I've been running single ring wiseco pistons in my MC28SP and have been on the cautious side of rebuilds and have been replacing every 10-12 hours. The pistons and rings have always been to spec but with that run time, I'm getting blowby on piston wall. Bike also has NF5 porting.

This is for my track bike. Although Im not the best track driver so I usually don't wring the neck out of my bikes. Nor do I look for every last drop of bhp.
ooof 10 - 12 hours per piston. that's a terrible return right? But yes I will be taking this one for the team as I have already bought them and it should be all together next weekend (if everything arrives on time).
It's not that bad... you'll probably get 3-4 15-20 minute sessions in a morning, and the same in the afternoon on most track days (with 3 groups).
You'll get 4-5 track days to a set of pistons, if you really push it. I guess it depends if you're a real track junkie?
I would however strongly recommend pulling the barrels after every track day, and inspecting the ring grooves and piston thrust faces. You can get the barrels off without removing the heads, to save the excessive cost of head gasket replacement every time. _________________ Andy.

yeah I suppose its not that bad when I think about. especially because you have an NX5. well hopefully these Wossners are decent. i'll keep ye updated with pictures etc
I also usually remove barrel and head together when doing top end.
If possible, measure the weight of these pistons. Go team! _________________ MC28SP, '16 KTM 500EXC, '16 Beta Xtrainer, '07 BMW 1200GS, '96 Ducati 900SS
