OT ? html in list

Wed Aug 10, 2005 8:08 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I couldn't find any list list, so I'm posting here.
Why do I always see a lot of html (especially from Andy) and never a working link ?

Er... maybe! Wink

Both the HTML and the BBCode are inactive if not logged in. I use the HTML, because I am more familiar with it, depending on how important or noticeable I want certain text to be.

You will notice the small gray text at the bottom of my signature. I wanted to add something to try and keep topics on the Forum after receiving a lot of follow-ups via PM, but didn't want the text to distract the reader from my posts.

Cheers,

Well I found out eventually and also just now allowed the cookie, to be able to log in automatically.

Now I've got Your attention: wouldn't it be a good feature, to be able to forward the saved PM to ones own mailbox ?
I guess the PM feature is to protect ones e-mail from spam, which is good, but its easier to keep track of dealings with people, if you have all the mails in your own mailbox.

PS: Hoorray for the spelling policing, we don't want the sms language to take over here, especially not in an international forum.

Poul,

Forum PM's don't have the capabilities to be "emailed" from the PM system. I have turned off the "email from forums" to reduce any spamming that could happen from it, as well as reduce any risk of my domain (nsr250.net) to be marked as a possible spam domain, or any other legal issues that could arise from it due to personal emails being sent from it that are not in my control.

Thanks,

Pretty much what I do, but I paste them into a TXT file as they are smaller and take up less HD space! Wink
