Frame number...

Hi!

Where can I get papers on my frame? I live in norway and need the papers on the bike to get it on the road. My frame number is MC21-1011025. Can anyone here help me get my papers?

I don't understand the question. Do you mean the owners document? Didn't you get this from the vendor?

I bought the bike to get parts from it to my other bike. But know I want to get this bike on the road. So i don't have any papers on the bike. Who should I talk to get the bike legal on the road?

Let me get this straight.

You bought a complete bike from a private individual - not a shop - and they did not give you any papers?

Can you contact them for the papers?

If not, then I'd be worried about proving it was your bike! I hope you have a receipt!

If you do and can prove it is yours, then you need to contact your licencing authority: In the UK they are able to trace the bike by frame number if it has been registered before, and issue replacement papers. If it has never been registered, it'll be harder to do, but you will need to register it yourself.
