Fri Apr 06, 2007 12:47 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all, Very Happy
I bought as spare a GENUINE HONDA NSR250 NSR 250 MC21 POWERVALVE MODULE on ebay, Shocked The item is a black box 10 cm by 7 cm, 2 mounting holes one each side with 2 plug connections one with 4 pins and the other with 6 pins.

The thing is i cannot find where it goes Embarassed as i would like to test it. Can anyone help, as im starting to think its not of this bike.
Thanks in advance Wink

Never seen a 21 PGM in plastic Question As Fenton said the power valves are controled by the PGM. Has it got PGM 1 OR 11 on it, mat be an MC18 one.

The other side of both the PGM-II and PGM-III is plastic though. It doesn't sound like either of those though.

Hi
I had a look at that item on e bay and its definetely not mc21 if it was it would have gone for more than £9.99. It might be mc16 or 18 but as I havent owned one I could not say for sure.
I would ask the guy for a refund.

I e-mailed R and C to advise them that the item IS NOT MC21, but they never replied.

R and C obviously have no idea about NSR parts and shouldn't be trusted in my opinion, as they are obviously only interested in making a sale. I bet if I had asked about the part with a view to buying I would've got a response. Rolling Eyes

I e-mailed them a month ago, and got no response, so I sent a message to the bidder, who then withdrew their bid.

Unfortunately for you though, it's not my job to police eBay or the internet, and so you got caught instead. Sorry about that.

Was that on the same item Andy Shocked , did they relist the same item knowing it was wrong? Twisted Evil
I don`t blame anybody but myself as i placed the bid! without any thaught about weather it would fit, as the seller should know what they are selling, and i am aware con artists are about.
And as far as policeing, well there never there when there needed Laughing

Like I say, it was a month or two ago, so I can't remember for sure, but I think it was the same part. Certainly the same description.

I would complain to eBay and claim for a misrepresented item.
