Hmmm. Endos/stoppies....
I would love to be able to pull them off well, but the bike is to nice for it to go wrong. My bike has CBR929 front calipers and I'll tell you what..... I've had that rear wheel up B4, not on purpose though. The braking is insane, and I'm sure it'd be a great bike for it.... But to drop the bike on the back of my helmet ?????Not for me. Leave that stuff to the stunters
And tank slap.... I would check the tires out well. Have a bike that used to love the tank slappin.... New front tire, no more.... As well as weak forks, maybe a rebuild is in order. _________________ MC21

Or just trying very very hard, witness Dani Pedrossa keeping it pinned wide in the MotoGP on Sunday as the whole bike shook for a good few seconds, I'm fairly sure Dani isn't stupid, his suspension isn't shagged or setup badly and his wheels, bearings etc. are in reasonable condition.
There are places where you just know it's going to happen if you've got the throttle wide open, Oulton Park over Clay Hill, Mallory over the crest out of the Esses being two, not having the throttle wide open of course will mean half a dozen ZXR400's come past you like you've stopped. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
1. Go really fast and pull the brake on as hard as you can. Use both hands if necessary. You'll either lose the front or go over the bars. Either way it'll look really cool Make sure you do it in front of the local school, so that they can enjoy your pain when it all goes horribly wrong.
2. Tank slapping should be part of your everyday ride to work. If it ain't slapping, you're going too slow.

I have to say that this is irresponsible "silly talk" on a public forum!
Keep this stuff for members only sections!! Believe it or not some other "ill informed person" will take you for your word!
STOPPIES - do them if you want to replace your headrace set every season! Otherwise like said , leave it for stuntmen.
TANK SLAPPERS - usually caused by poor frame / rake design. Steering dampers help to combat the onset of one if the road surface is uneven, if your experiencing them often and are driving on "****" roads fit one! if the bike is doing it on a good road surface then see above and change your headrace set.

Ohh get you... take a chill pill mate, look through the years of posts here and you will piss taking humor every were. Or maybe its just us Brits who can see it for what it is
Either way there is no more experianced/skilled rider on this forum like Matt and if you were to see his posts you would see the humor in most of them. _________________ Farting is funny

MM!
Hmm, I found it funny. I mean what "ill informed person" is going to come on some forum and ask how to do stoppies (following up his how to do wheelies thread).
if some one is that retarded to actually take Matt's advice then ****-em, the deserve to get hurt. And if that same retard isn't able to see that Matt was making fun of them for asking such a stupid question then maybe its best for them to get their hurt on and findout that maybe motorcycles arent the proper hobby for them. _________________ Charles Gallant

nothing to do with being a Brit cause strangley enough, yeh! i'm one!!
But , you did intend the humour with your , a bit like me saying "open your throttle wide open and dump your clutch, then you'll be a MotoGP class rider" (notice the LoL).
Matt's post was and is a statement! You & I might laugh at it but others take it at face value.
Under no circumstances should anyone take my post seriously. And as for using two hands on the front brake.....well, that's not only pretty difficult, but would probably make you crash anyway.
As MM says, leave the stunts to the stunt men.
Unless you want to be a stunt man, in which case I stand by my previous post Oh, but maybe not in front of the school, 'cos you might hurt some of the kiddies when the bike does the big barrel roll down the road.
