I was working there last month, and it was really warming up then!
Would be great to hire an off-road bike and hit the mountains outside Muscat, just not between May & September!!!

How did Brands go yesterday?? I'm only about 15 miles away and wished I was there it was scorching!

I was out in Jordan doing some stuff in the desert near the Iraq border a few years ago and the temp hit 55 degrees. I honestly thought i was going to melt! Laughing

He was talking about the British Superbikes, they were there this weekend racing.

I was sharing a garage with one of the MRO Superstock riders on Thursday, he was there setting up his bike as they were one of the support races. Real helpful guy, also helped me with the suspension settings on the 916, went so much quicker after he'd helped me adjust the settings.

Except for the anti-climax to the 2nd Superbike race, when Sykes's Suzuki blew up on the first racing lap, after 5 laps behind the Safety Car and it was red flagged due to oil on the track Sad

It was shaping up to be an exciting dash to the flag, denied!

The GSXR blow up was pretty spectacular though Razz
