two stroke oil

And speaking of oil, are there two types of oil used for 2 stroke? One in the little white box on the right side of the bike for burning, and one inside the bike for lubricating. And which one should be checked more often and refilled more often?

Yes there are! one is gear box oil(transmission oil) it stays in the gear box and lubricats the gears untill its liftime is up and you are to drain and change it. The other is engine 2 T oil which is burned with the gas to lubricate the pistons.
The gear oil deppends if you are a $$ person then as regular as possible(use synthetic).
The 2T oil make sure its good stuff and top it up after every ride if possible(like Andy). Or straight away if the red light comes on. someone said earlier on if you run out of 2T your engine will blow up!

The white 'box' next to the frame, takes Two-Stroke oil. This is used to mix with the fuel to lubricate the crankshaft, cylinders, and associated moving parts. Search on this forum for oils, to see what others use - generally a good quality fully synthetic oil, like Motul 600 or 710 (or your brand of choice). As was mentioned in your other thread, if you let this get too low, the red light will come on. Ignore this and you will seize the engine $$$$$.

The filler cap on the engine below the kick-start lever is for gear oil for the gearbox. The two are seperate, and you cannot mix the oils. Check the homepage for volume and weight specifications (I think it is 10W30 from memory). It is a good idea to give it an oil change - you don't know how old, or contaminated, the current oil may be.

Did you buy this bike from a dealer, or in a private sale?

Thanks.

I bought it in a private sale. I took it for specification as soon as I got it. And the mechanist asked me to change the chain, rear brake disc rotor and fork seals and told me add the most expensive fuel every time.

About the oil light, it turns on for a second every time I start the bike. But as long as it isn't on when I'm riding, the bike will be fine, am i right?

Thats right it comes on when you turn on the ignition to check the bulb/system is working ok.This is so you know it is working and so you should notice if there are any problems before damaging the engine.
It should go out straight away after start up unless oil is required.
It refers to bikes 2 stroke oil not the transmission oil.

The red light will also flicker or illuminate constantly when the motor is running if there is an ignition/charging fault. The red warning light is dual purpose.
