They certainly are. I think i'm going to have mine anodised black to match the fronts. I got a swingarm infill panel made as well, but i'm going to have it fitted during the winter.

the infills look fantastic in the flesh when done as well, like a proper old gp swingarm:D i cant wait to fit the swingarm but trying to get me hands on a tap set to make threads in swinger so i can fit the carbon hugger

Don't thread the swingarm, you could potentially cause a crack!

You need to use an insert, which will only involve you drilling a round hole.

These are what you need:

Rivnuts - Merlin Motorsport.

You're looking at about £35 for the setting tool and a small pack of M4 rivnuts.

There's probably a cheaper supplier out there, but Merlin are pretty efficient. They are based at Castle Coombe circuit.

Order the merlin ones if you can, as you need to use Aluminium (yes that's right my American brethren!!) inserts, as steel ones canreact over time with the swingarm.
