a sign writing business will most likely have sticky-backed coloured sheet that you could cut to shape.

I masked and painted the number board areas on my fairing.

I dont think you'll get any proper templates, it tends to be a DIY thing.

Jeff,

dont have a template. I generally taped off my own designs and sprayed my plates on.

Of course you could purchase a sticker/set from Honda and create a template based on the sticker?

THanks all. I made one. Found an OEM sticker for sale on Yahoo Japan, blew it up, made a cardboard template, etc.
Vinyl is tricky due to the contours of the tail section, but will use the template for a spray-on version when the time comes.
If you want a copy, let me know. Not sure how I'll get it to you, but will figure something out.

Jeff,

Use a hair dryer while applying the vinyl. Makes it a little more plyable so you get no wrinkles/creases.
