sounds to me like electrical fault...

only 1 symptom, engine starts, cuts after about 2 mins , then restarts immediately, problem then disappears until next day.

Its seem to occur every day i ride it, and only happens on first start of the day..

any ideas??

After a few weeks the problem persists (now resolved), now tho, after braking for a corner and coming back on to acceleration it continually wants to cut out.

So i thought fkit, ive changed plugs, rebuilt the carby, pulled all the fairings off so i could jiggle all the wires, cant make it stall. Time to check the simple things...

Took the kill switch off to examine the connections , was just about to disassemble and noticed the 2 wires coming off the brake caliper. Found a nice little split facing the stanchion, which had a puncture right where the split was resting.

So turns out the brake light switch wires were the cause of the problem. Shorting out on the stanchion killing the electric system
