I have done a few searches today to try and find some info on what this does and what effects removing it will do?
I bought the plugs because they were cheap and part of an order for required parts. I put them in last night cause I was bored and am now wondering if there is any use.
My understanding is leave them on for the street, take them off for racing - Something about making the carbs think the intake is longer, for better low end.
They're resonant chambers which do indeed help to boost the low to mid range power. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

When the throttle is shut off, the fuel/air mixture that has suddenly been blocked by the reeds is bypassed into the boost bottles. Then when the throttle opens again that premixed fuel/air if drawn into the cases before any new fuel/air mix from the carby..
Yes-no ??? _________________ Paranoia about failure will ensure nothing but failure to ever reach potential.
I bought a "boost bottle" for my pocket bike and the only difference I have noticed is that the bike looks different. There was no change in performance at all.
I guess I will wait until my nsr is back on the road and just see if I notice any change.
on a 21, they're after the carbs, but before the reeds. _________________ MC21SP Plaything
