Tyre pressures

Sat Apr 16, 2016 7:37 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello all,

Has anyone got any knowledge of the best tyre pressures for an mc28 se - road riding not track ???

2.25 kg/cm2 is the recommended which I work out to be 32psi. Do you stick with this?

Thanks

I run 24 psi rear and 28 psi front. Track or street. I replace tires after 2 track days. Some will say higher, but the lower temps let the tire run a little warmer, hence stickier.

Thats my input on the subject.

It all depends on the tires, ambient temps and type of riding.

Best bet is to go with the manufactures recommendations usually posted on the side wall of the tire.

I will say that some of the michelin pilot pro's are much lower then say Dunlop or Bridgestone for racing/track day conditions. But again, go by manufacturers recomendations.
