I had my NSR 250 SP in storage for the last 10 years. The bike is in showroom condition and not ridden anymore, I know its a crime not ridding it but its in such excellent condition I just could bear scratching it. The bike has 1,936 miles on it and its in original condition no modifications, its here in California and registered in California, Just thought I would share the photos .
WOW. That does look fantastic. But ride it don't hide it! Maybe get yourself a set of Chinese fairings if you are worried about scratching the OEM ones.
Thanks for the kind comments. I didn't want to put aftermarket plastic and ride it, the details ( with me ) are on the O.C.D. side, when I see a bike/car "the devil is in the details" I see the rotors, or the frame, all the rubber hoses etc. all that to me is the detail that your eyes see but never notices, its when you have a feeling about something but cant answer why. The bike is mostly original just a replaced panel or two because of a small scratch, when I say restoration I'm just using an exotic for for cleaned up, this is how it came I just stripped it of all the plastic an cleaned it up, there is no Armorall used everything is dry to the touch and nothing is greasy, so what you see all the plastic and rubber is dry to the touch ( I did use a type of preservative on the tires but it is dry as well) thanks for the views, the bike never gets seen so its nice to see my comrades take a an interest.
