I was browsinng the net, and found that if we use the V301A with slight modification it will work on our NSR250R.
Well i dug a little deeper and found that if we get the newest V301C there is no need for any alteration. I bought two units and will revert my findings hopefully in December when i have time to get down and dirty with my upgrades.
It will be interesting to hear about your findings.
I use the HRC TT-F3 reed cages (which are effectively pre-92 NF5) with the later HRC stuffers modified to suit, and the setup works well. However, I don't think the difference is particularly "measurable", and I am not sure the V-Force setup will be either.
I've never seen any hard evidence to prove carbon reeds make any significant difference in the NSR either, although agree that they are far more likely to disintegrate and pass harmlessly through the motor if they break than OEM fibre items.
V-Force cages and C/F reeds are largely "snake oil", in my personal opinion, as the standard NSR parts are pretty efficient and have a good surface area. _________________ Andy.

FWIW I'll share my experience with a V-Force 4 set up on my NF4 RS125. This was an upgrade that was part of an engine re-build and tune by a great 2 stroke guy. I did not dyno the engine before and after the V-Force but the engine was unbelievebly better than before and I feel the V-Force was part of it. I did go back to standard reedblock for a while (reasons below) and I thought it lost a little bit in terms of power and driveability. If you search on USGPRU.net there are a lot of comments about the V-force (there may be some dyno comparisons, can't recall now). There seemed to be a strong consensus that it made significant improvements. Same on the RZ350 owners group website.
The problem I had was that the reeds would fray and chip at the end in an unbelievably short time which hurt performance considerably and made the bike very difficult to start. I suspect it was because the product is designed for the CR125 which operates at lower revs. The problem seems to have been solved by ordering reeds from Carbontech which have lasted longer, but maybe still not as long as stock reeds would last.
As for RD/RZ350... anything's got to be better than stock!
We run carbon reeds on one of the DeeCee NSR500Vs and standard fibre reeds on the other, and apart from #21 virtually destroying a set [of carbon reeds] about every 45 minutes, there's no discernible difference between the two bikes. #21 certainly didn't noticeably make any more [or less] power on the dyno when we switched to carbon.
V-Force inlet kits may give a benefit due to overall reed area on some bikes, but for a street/road-race motor, I would personally rather spend my money elsewhere. _________________ Andy.
