Has anyone tried to fit tyga end cans to a standard mc16 exhaust?
Just bought some and the internal diameter is smaller than the outside diameter of the stinger.
Do I have any options?
I think you would need to buy two of the mounting flanges (mild steel) which Tyga sell for a few quid each. Then braze them onto the pipes in place of the existing ones, which you can cut off. I haven't measured mine up but I was thinking of using some thinner pipe to sleeve it on the inside too. I'm fairly sure that the bolt positioning is different to standard too.
Cheers Gary, have just gone standard again for now thanks. Am going with new Hagon shock but standard brake lines as well for track day in May. What internal diameter are your ally end cans? They might fit straight on.
Have just come out of workshop mate, they might fit I think.
Any chance of me popping over to you one night with a spare pipe to see if they will fit?
Maybe you might see a way to get them to fit if modding is required.
If weekend is easier for you, no probs. Cheers mate
