air correction solenoid removal

Can i confirm that the air correction solenoids can be removed by substituting the correction system with a 140MJ in each pipe?

This is for a race bike.

First, I can't support any jetting discussion here I'm afraid Rhys. It goes back years, where I was threatened with court action over someone seizing a motor after reading "advice" on the forum. People bitch about it, but they haven't had to deal with the crap I have in the past!

Second, I really have to ask, why? The air correction setup works perfectly in all applications, including in conjunction with the full HRC jet kit. Only the TT-FIII kit carbs do away with the air correction, and by that point it's virtually an RS, with dedicated carbs and different ignition (the stock carbs/air correction are tied to the PGM-III map, and different internally from the HRC variant). This is why you will often find HRC air trays with a cut-out for the solenoids.
