Just had the engine apart all seemed ok started up fine, clutch in select 1st, a quick squirt up the road going up the gear box no issue. The problem arose when I went to change down, I couldn’t!
With the engine switched off I could change back down to 2nd, but couldn’t get neutral or first.
Any suggestions as to where I start my investigations?
The gear selector pawl pulls the selector drum in either direction. The pawl spring sits either side of a post. It's worth checking it's not jumped over the post _________________ Why do things simply when you can complicate them
