Carburetor & TPS Coupling

Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:14 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello everyone

I have NSR 250 R2J.
1. Do anyone have drawing for little coupling which connect between carburetor and TPS (Throttle position sensor)?
2. According manual book for basic setting carburetor, please help me which one carburetor no 1, and which one number 2?
Is up cylinder (left side) are number one, and down cylinder (right side) are number 2?

thanks for your help

Hi Barie

I'm a newbie here so not at all knowledgeable so sadly can't help as mine is in pieces do you have any pictures and I can look at what I've got

As for which cylinder in classed as #1 and which one is #2 I'll have to pass on that as well

I'm sure Andy or Rob will be able to answer the question real easy

The upright [vertical] cylinder is #1.

I don't, I'm afraid. I have 3 sets of carbs here, and all are HRC F-III, that don't have a T.P.S., so I can't take a set apart to measure.

If I can get my hand on a set of standard carbs, I'll happily do a drawing for you though. In the mean time, I might know someone who can help. I'll drop him a line.

Yes. I can take a better picture and get dimensions if it helps?

I couldn't see a part number on my parts guide

Dear, Robh

Sorry just make sure, so the angle between left and right connection are 90 degree (carb side and TPS side)

OK Thanks for the information.
For the size no problem I can calculate by myself in my carb & TPS.
