how big a diameter is a vfr front disc? does it have the same offset and stud pattern as the nsr wheel?

I don't know the numbers, but I do know it's bigger. I believe it will fit the wheel, but the caliper is then in the wrong place.

Off the top of my head, the VFR disks are 296mm. PCD is the same as the NSR disks, so they fit straight on.

Ideally you want the VFR fork bottoms too. Fit the NSR SE/SP internals, and the calipers will bolt right up!

If you have the VFR wheel, then it's wide enough for a 120 section tyre, but that's only really useful if you are racing and are allowed slicks, else stick with the 110 section tyre as the handling will generally be better.

I have done exactly what Andy has said, except I'm using the complete NC30 VFR400 front forks. I'm using NC30 discs, I have retained the wheel and calipers, but I had to get an NC30 front fender too. Can't coment on ride as yet because i want the forks rebuilt, but it all slots straight in...

Have you thought of using the ZXR front wheel and rotor?
