Stock standard

Mon Sep 26, 2005 12:18 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi everyone, I was wondering is there anything I can do to improve my MC21's
performance? Im is South Africa so obviously with shipping and every thing else it starts to get expensive. Just something to give it a bit more whack?
I look forward to some opinions! The person who said they would send me a pic for mounting the back brake reservoir, if they could still do it I would be very grateful.

Take it easy

Cameron

I'd check out Tyga's web site as it's got good info on powering up your MC21.

I'd start with a dyno run to see where you're at. Then do the wire splice, pipes, airbox. 300 kit and so on till all your moneys gone......

Check out http://www.tyga-performance.com/pages/MC21.php

Howdy

When i first got mine a life time ago (91) I didnt knw of any forums or overseas suppliers, so i asked my local dyno shop (TTS) they said try changing the cans and dumping the airbox lid. So i did and with some needles and jets we got 61 out of the old girl with it delimited (as per andys tuning section).

Bless her she ran great until I discovered to many parts and bits, after that it went very exspensive very quickley, more power but at what price? I have had enough barrels to build a bloody cannon!

Iam sure Steven 45 with give you some good tips for stock machines, otherwise send Tyga some of that african gold for all there goodies.

Yep, the wire splice is free Very Happy

The standard '21 pipes are very good so some cans if you can run to it, a couple of holes in the airbox lid and some carefull jetting should see you past the 60bhp mark.

Read this page before you take a hole saw to your airbox lid.
